Milestone projects

Image
Each of these milestone Projects and really the whole class really taught me about object design and 3d modelling as a whole.  The Grid Laptop recreated in Tinkercad The process for this project was fairly simple I had got the idea from the documentary  Objectified and had looked up images of the laptop on Google to create a more accurate recreation. It's not exact because it is simplified somewhat due to the limitations of Tinkercad but i do think I was able to make a good final product. The Mesh Mashup My mashup/ remix project's idea was scattered and not fully coherent. I think I should have simplified it and removed the whole tower element because if I did the idea would be more understandable. The tower was also the source of some struggle when actually creating the final project as it would blend well with the toilet and it really just looks messy at the top. Papercraft Modular Terrain This was definitely my favourite project to work on because I made something physically

3D printed hollow object

To create a hollow form 3D print is the project I did with my partner, Jaemin Jung.  Here were my original ideas Here were my partner's ideas Here is were some quickly put together rough models based on the sketches And lastly here are some pictures of the final when we were brainstorming they suggested the idea of cutting one of their concepts in half horizontally and wrap it around one of my concepts. that was our main idea and we ran with it even if it is a somewhat simple concept. the fusion of our two ideas is not super complicated to get the ideas together we had to do minor modifications to the inner object and some more major modifications to get it to fit around the inner object.
